हॉलीवुड की जानी मानी एक्ट्रेस सेल्मा ब्लेयर को आज के समय में कौन नहीं जनता है. वह हमेशा ही किसी न किसी वजह से चर्चाओं में बनी रहती है. इतना ही नहीं उन्होंने अब तक हॉलीवुड इंडस्ट्रीस को एक से बढ़कर एक फिल्मे दी है, वहीं हॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री सेल्मा ब्लेयर की मां जज मौली कुक का रविवार को निधन हो गया. इस घटना के बाद अभिनेत्री शोक में डूबी हुई हैं. सेल्मा ने कहा कि वो अपनी मां को पूजती थीं. 

मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार सेल्मा ब्लेयर ने एक इंस्टाग्राम पोस्ट साझा करते हुए अपनी मां को याद किया है. वो लिखती हैं, 'मेरी जिंदगी की पहली इंसान..आपने मुझे अब तक जो कुछ भी दिया उसके लिए मैं आपकी आभारी हूं. मां, मैं आपको पूजती हूं. मौली कुक का कल निधन हो गया है. उनके अपने आवास पर. जंहा इस बात का पता चला है कि वह बेहद कुशल, मजाकिया, तेज-तर्रार, उत्साहित और उदार थीं. वह एक मददगार इंसान थीं और उनके इस गुण को मैंने भी पाया है. वह अपने आप में किसी तोहफे से कम नहीं थीं.'

वहीं उन्होंने लिखा, 'मेरी मां एक शानदार जज थीं और वह अपने लॉ स्कूल की कक्षा की एकमात्र महिला थीं. वह मेरी पहली स्टाइल आइकन थीं, मेरी छवि, मेरा ईनाम थीं. जानकारी के लिए हम बता दें कि उन्हें अपनी आंखों के सामने से ओझल होते देखने का अनुभव बेहद ही अजीब है.'बता दें कि कोरोना वायरस की वजह से सेल्मा ब्लेयर लॉस एंजेलिस स्थित अपने घर में आठ साल के बेटे आर्थर और ब्वॉयफ्रेंड रॉन कार्लसन साथ वक्त बिता रही हैं.

She often gave the shirt off her back, a trait I have adopted. Gifts of herself. My mother was a brilliant judge and one of the only women in her law school class.
