फेमस टीवी एक्टर कुशल पंजाबी की मौत से कई टीवी सेलेब्स शॉक्ड हैं। कुशल के दोस्त इस बात को एक्सेप्ट ही नहीं कर पा रहे हैं कि कुशल अब उनके बीच नहीं रहे है। करणवीर बोहरा, चेतन हंसराज, पायल रोहतागी समित कई सेलेब्स ने उनकी डेथ के बाद अपनी भावनाएं ज़ाहिर की हैं। इसी बीच टीवी एक्ट्रेस और 'बिग बॉस' एक्स कंटेस्टेंट दलजीत कौर ने भी कुशल के डेथ केस पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है। ये बात शायद कम ही  लोग जातने होंगे की कुशल और दलजीत बहुत अच्छे दोस्त थे।

This is how I remember u ... we spoke a few days back... u were excited about the circuit race ... u were happy to be fit .... u were as encouraging as always ... no one has ever posted a newspaper article like this showing the excitement like u always did... in the worst of my times u stood by me and held me tight .... u were always there kushal and I want u here forever .... I can’t not call u anymore... I can’t believe these people teling me this shit about u ... u were strong as hell and I know nothing could make u this weak... someone plzzzz tel me this is some stupid gimmick... tell me it’s not true.... स्पॉटब्वॉय से बातचीत में दलजीत ने कहा, 'मैं कुशल को पिछले 16 सालों से जानती थी। 16 साल पहले हमने एक शो में साथ काम किया था जिसका नाम था ‘संतान’। हम काफी अच्छे दोस्त थे। मैं इस बात को एक्सेप्ट ही नहीं कर पा रही हूं कि कुशल अपनी जिंदगी खत्म कर सकता है। कुशल वही शख्स था जिसने मेरी जिंदगी के बुरे दौर में मुझे सपोर्ट किया। जब शालीन भनोट और मैं अलग हो रहे थे उस वक्त मैं बहुत डिप्रेस थी। पर्सनल लाइफ में उस वक्त मैं बहुत बुरे दौर से गुज़र रही थी। उस वक्त कुशल ने ही मुझे समझाया था कि रिश्ते टूटने या शादी टूटने से जिंदगी खत्म नहीं हो जाती, मुझे यकीन नहीं होता वो ऐसा कैसे कर सकता है’। इसके अलावा दलजीत ने अपने इंस्टाग्राम पर भी कुशल की फोटो के साथ इमोशनल पोस्ट लिखे हैं।

जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि 27 दिसंबर को अचानक कुशल की मौत की खबर आई जिसने सबको शॉक्ड कर दिया था। परन्तु उससे भी ज्यादा शॉकिंग लोगों के लिए ये जानना था कि कुशल ने आत्महत्या की है। कुशल की डेड बॉडी उनके घर पर मिली थी। साथ में पुलिस को एक सुसाइड नोट भी बरामद हुआ था जिसमें लिखा था इस मौत के लिए वो किसी तो जिम्मेदार नहीं ठहराना चाहते थे |  कुशल ने कई टीवी सीरियल में काम किया था। अभी हाल में वो जैसे, इश्क में मरजावां, देखो मगर प्यार से, कभी हां कभी ना में नजर आए थे। छोटे पर्दे के अलावा कुशल सलमान खान, ऋतिक रोशन, शाहरुख खान जैसे बॉलीवुड स्टार्स के साथ भी काम कर चुके थे। कुशल ने 'सलाम-ए-इश्क' में सलमान खान के साथ और 'लक्ष्य' में ऋतिक रोशन के साथ बतौर को-स्टार काम किया था। कुशल, शाहरुख खान की फिल्म 'काल' में भी नजर आए थे।
